“Abigail Mott Poetry is a performance service where I use a vintage typewriter to create a poem for you in a matter of moments.
People pick topics anywhere from the first time they fell in love, to engagements, marriages, and anniversaries. They ask me to write about growth and letting go, friendships and pets. I’m drawn to the collaborative moments of these interactions; I enjoy hearing their stories, connecting to their experiences, then giving them a memento (the poem) to take home with them.”
Abigail Mott has been performing poetry for over a decade. Her writing and travels are captured in the award-winning documentary A Place of Truth, created by filmmaker Barrett Rudich. Abigail has been featured in the New York Times, Humans of New York, and other news outlets coast to coast. Currently in Denver, CO, she has performed at TedxMileHigh, and spotlighted on Channel 9 and The Denver Orbit.
